This battery packs 560Ah (6720Wh) of power into a battery that's about as big as your average 200Ah battery (26.3"x 7.7"x 9.85"). I asked Dakota Lithium what witchcraft they used to make this battery as energy-dense as it is, and it turns out it's just some complicated science. Not only is it energy dense, it's also great value; you get a LOT more power per dollar than you do with most other LiFePO4 batteries, all with the best in class 11 year warranty from Dakota Lithium.
Built to power an off grid farm or home during a cold North Dakota winter, the DL+ 12V 560 Ah battery is our most compact and powerful battery yet — ready for long expeditions in your RV, extended ocean voyages in your boat, or plenty of power for your air conditioner or off grid system. Engineered for maximum energy density, this battery has 560 Amp Hours of capacity in a waterproof battery case the size of a two 100 Amp Hour batteries. That’s 6X the amount of usable power, allowing you to replace a marine or solar battery bank of 12 AGM or lead acid batteries with a single DL+ 560.
Plus 1,000 cold cranking amps of engine starting power, making this battery the ultimate single battery solution for boats, RVs, food trucks, barns, garages, workshops, or any vehicle or space where you need a house battery that can jump start your engine. Also includes internal heating for charging in extreme cold. CAN bus communication port allows the battery to talk CAN bus electronics, allowing you to build smart power systems.

560 Ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 560 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Up to 80% capacity for 4,000 cycles in recommended conditions, 70% capacity at 5,000 recharge cycles. Half-life (50% capacity) of 6,000 - 7,000 re-charge cycles (Typical SLA has 500 cycles). Backed up by an 11 year warranty.
300A max continuous, 600A max 20-second pulse, 1,000A max 5-sec CCA pulse (equivalent to 2,000CCA in lead acid starter battery power). LiFePO4 chemistry has a flat voltage curve, meaning this battery will maintain a voltage of >12V for the full discharge cycle in most applications.

12V 20A charger included ($299 value). Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.
CAN bus communication port and NMEA compatibility for connecting to marine, off grid, and automotive electronics. 7 pin CAN plug with hardware included.
Control the terminals of your pack externally, or remotely. Two analog control pins allow you to connect either or both to a (third) power pin to disable charging or discharging. Independent Charge/Discharge shut offs can be triggered by an external switch or logic controller. Shut off only the charging function, or only the discharging function, or both, and re-activate them at will. Useful in larger automated systems or local smart-grid projects.
